The right amount depends on your tyre size. Smaller road tubeless tyres typically need less, around 30-40ml, while wider mountain bike tyres need more, around 60-120ml, so check your tyre or rim manufacturer's recommendation for your specific size. Because latex sealant gradually dries out inside the tyre, it should be topped up roughly every 2-3 months, though this can be faster in hot Indian climates where sealant dries out more quickly.

It is designed for true tubeless or tubeless-ready tyre setups sealed directly against the rim, and is most effective there since it can circulate freely inside the tyre cavity. Some riders also add a small amount inside a tube as extra puncture protection, though sealing performance is generally better in a proper tubeless setup.

Tubeless sealant is effective for small to medium punctures from thorns and sharp debris, but it is not designed to seal large cuts, gashes or sidewall tears, which usually need a tyre plug, boot, or tube as a temporary fix to get you home. Carry a spare tube or plug kit for rides where you might encounter rougher terrain.

Store the bottle tightly sealed at normal room temperature, away from direct sun and freezing conditions, and shake well before each use since the latex particles can settle over time. Like most latex sealants, it has a shelf life of roughly 6-12 months unopened, so check that an older bottle still pours and mixes smoothly rather than being lumpy or separated before using it.
